Does charisma equate with substance? Or does it enhance a band's 'likeability' meaning more fans, more sales? But are sales a true representation of substance? What makes substance? YOu could say the spice girls are crap, totally manufactured, rubbish singers. But they did maintain a large fanbase, sold a truckload of albums, a lots of girls wore those platform runners...Is there a band or solo where you like their music but not them or vice versa? ... What band doesn't have an image? for the yeah yeah yeahs i say that Karen O oozes charisma. On stage she is atomic. But I like them as a whole. I adore Nick, and the drummer is alright I suppose.
