yay channel 7 for listening to us

apparently channel 7 is listening to what we want to see on tv. i propose that we take advantage of this to wreak damage on the wider community, because sure as hell theyre going to blame us for it anyway.

on wednesday i saw willy mason at the corner. i skipped the end of malta's class because i thought this was more important. beer costs $5.20 a pot. arrghh. dont they know im a uni student? it was a good time to use my new camera.

and on friday last i saw the grates, red riders at ding dong. beer is much cheaper there. i think the grates are v good.

good good world

i saw the most beautiful thing i had seen for a while, on swanston street at 1 in the morning last night. a busker was going down the street carrying his guitar and giving his money to all the other buskers and beggars on the street.

names, names

i am trying to come up with a name for my band that is appealing to both me and my mate who plays bass. we have difficulty in agreeing on names, and have disagreed on about 30 so far.

i was thinking of having a two word name. up until a few days ago the best i had come up with was "the urinal cakes" but there is a dj called dj urinal soap, and its a bit close.
so i came up with " siege machine" which i thought was awesome because it has a good ring to it. After 5 minutes of internet searching i discovered an orchestra in america called siege machine, and a punk band called siege.

so i need two words to make a name, preferably they should juxtapose each other, ie stone roses, bad religion, bikini kill, cat power, dead kennedys,

or be unrelated ie happy mondays, afghan whigs, green day, butthole surfers,

or sound similar ie blues brothers, backstreet boys, electric 6

alright, so all the mars bars are in a rubbish tip now. safe and sound.

now imagine a mutant mars bar monster emerging from the rubbish driven mad by the toxic poisons in it's body. angry it roams the countryside destroying houses and eating cows.

overseas

i think i would like to study overseas.
seeing as italy is so passe i thought germany sounded ok. i have relations in britain and the netherlands but either i don't know them that well or they're probably too busy to look out for me, so i'm not that concerned about where i go. the uni in Karlsruhe, Germany says it costs 300 euros a month to live there, which is around 470 aus dollars. that doesn't sound too bad.

where do other people think sounds ok?
i came up with an idea for an anime to educate the japanese about the beauty of whales.

it starts out with all the whalers of the deck of their ship dismembering the whales bodies, when a huge gush of blood blows one of the into the ocean where he is swallowed by another whale and goes on an odyssey through the oceans of the world, learning of the beauty and power of nature.

i think i have checked all of the key points needed for a great anime. copious amounts of blood and flesh. biblical references. a weak story arc.

think: jonah/akira/kon tiki expedition/the decemberists

In his debut adventure, originally published in 1929, Tintin is pursued by Bolshevik agents trying to prevent him from exposing the new Soviet regime. Punctuated by slapstick and political revelations, this story is based on the writings of an anticommunist Belgian ex-consul to the Ukraine. Herge’s early style revealed strong graphics, influenced by photo-reporting from the period, marking the historic debut of a major artist.
